We are searching for a System Admin & IT Manager to support the business with day to day operations and the ongoing IT development projects. We are a fast-growing start-up based in Barcelona that offers customer services 24/7 internationally. Job responsibilities include:

System administration:

  • Management of system, hardware and IT infrastructure including supporting Windows desktops, Active Directory and Networking
  • Administration of a variety of third-party services such as GSuite, Help Juice, Slack
  • Remote user infrastructure administration
  • Management of IT equipment distribution and collection
  • Administration and improvement to Zen Desk focusing on usability and security


IT management:

  • Responsible for assuring IT operations best practices including security, data protection and maintenance of IT systems
  • Develop and implement IT strategies including auditing existing systems, planning for new systems and reporting the strategies to stakeholders
  • Manage the overall objectives and architecture of IT systems to ensure that all IT operations are controlled and audited
  • Assure installations, service and maintenance agreements of all external IT systems, managing the process and ensuring that licensing and upgrades are kept in date
  • Review and scrutinize system performance, in accordance with company policy, providing recommendations that will drive efficiency and provide added value to the business
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation, documented for internal and external audit 
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in similar role 
  • Experience in information technology solving software and hardware matters
  • Proven experience in IT with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Leadership skills with a hands-on approach 
  • Commitment to internal client service 
  • Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations
  • Ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy
  • Experienced in using IT systems on various platforms, understand various IT troubleshooting and provide technical support
  • Control and monitor data, network access and backup systems
