Software Engineer - flexible remote
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Team based in Barcelona, Spain.
We are experts in the field of customer support, tailored for the iGaming industry. We are searching for a Software Engineer to support the business with day-to-day operations and ongoing development projects. We are a fast-growing start-up based in Barcelona that offers customer support services 24/7 internationally. If you are looking for a challenging career opportunity to have a direct impact on the business goals by improving our technical and operational systems.
In this role, you will have a combination of technical and operational functions. You will lead the handling of operational issues, the client's system integrations, and improving the operational infrastructure with a focus on process automation. You will be involved in maintaining and improving a variety of third-party systems such as Zendesk, Help Juice by developing custom-built tools.
Job responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining automated processing systems
Building and maintaining tools to facilitate the management of third party systems
Building and maintaining internal tools to improve internal operations
Assisting our external clients with basic systems integration
Responding to operational issues in a timely manner
Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role
Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
Strong knowledge of SQL, C# (or similar language), JScript/NodeJs
Basic understanding of website development
Basic understanding of cloud platforms
Ability to interact with non-tech collaborators having an internal client service focus
Excellent troubleshooting and technical analysis skills
Ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy
Fluent English
Useful Skills
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with Zendesk or similar systems
Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools particularly AWS QuickSight
Experience with processes automation of and integration with external systems
Experience with VueJs
